Frauke Elsen & Ensemble Satierique - Poïèma

Poïèma is a composition from 2006 for voice solo based on a text of the Ancient Greek poet Sappho. Initially written for the voice of Els Mondelaers, the piece now is a much sought after work within contemporary repertoire for voice solo. Frauke Elsen added it to her repertoire a few years ago. It is a work about a farewell, with good memories as well as sadness.
