Dead Ladies Show Marathon
Ode to women who shift the boundaries
During the Dead Ladies Show, author Gaea Schoeters invites guests to talk about strong women who made their mark on history. Between talks, pianist Lies Colman accompanies a series of great singers. Each show features three ladies, plus the music of others. Every edition starts with the Dead Ladies Song by composer Annelies Van Parys. Since its inception, the format has already proven to be a hit in more than ten shows.
They are now bringing those shows together in one marathon of 48 hours at Concertgebouw Brugge. Good for 30 lecture performances about as many top women. An ideal opportunity to catch up the shows you missed revisit your favorites or -if you did not yet know the concept- dive right in. An accompanying supplementary program heightens the atmosphere. A festive weekend!
